Hi,
I have a network printer that I would like to be wireless connected to my wireless router. Is that possible? Can I get some kind of gizmo that can be connected via ethernet to my printer - and be connected with "N" wireless to my wireless lan?

It would be useful if you mentioned the make and models of your equipment. I am not clear on exactly what you are saying. A wired network printer can be connected to a ethernet port on a wireless router and you can print to it wirelessly.
If the problem is the wireless router is too far away from where you want your printer, you can install a wireless printer server to your network printer and connect to that wirelessly and place the printer wherever you wish -
Hi, well no, the printer has a network card. So I dont need a printserver. A printserver connects wired/wireless network to a printer right? However what I want, is a way to connect a wireless network to a wired network. I can see that my focus on the printer gets things confused - however the problem is not the printer as such. The problem is that I have two networks. 1 wired and 1 wireless. And I need to connect those two.
In its core its just a bridge or router connecting two networks, however I cant find any products like a router that can connect as a network device on the wireless network, while having a cable for the wired.
I can accomplish this with a PC with two netcards. 1 wireless netcard and 1 wired. Then I can put up routing tables that connects those two networks.
But I cant find any (gismo) router or bridge that can do this...?

please list your hardware--routers switches printer--I think you are making this harder than it has to be
I have a wired network with 4 pcs and a wired network printer.
I took a wireless router and disabled dhcp, set the network address manually, then connected a cable from the router into one of the wireless lan ports.
All wireless computers can talk to the wired computers, all wireless computers can print to lan printer (connected via cat5 to original router with 5 port switch). All wired printers can print to the wired network printer -
Maybe you need something like this one:
a wireless bridge?
You can hook this wireless bridge to your printer using ethernet cable and it will do the wireless communication to your wireless LAN. -
Now I have a wired network printer (Canon) that must be used by all devices connected to the DIR-655. That printer cannot be connected wired (different floor). It is preferred that the printer is on the SAME subnet as all the other devices (this way I can use the printers full potential like network scanning etc).

..or we're back to the wireless print server.
A wireless print server in its simplest form is like adding a wireless card to your printer...its just the wireless card is external and hooked up by a cat5 cable
Ethernet printer connect to my wireless router?
