Okay I have a Dlink WBR 1310, and some family members are using youtube (more than 1) and its kinda very annoying not getting a decent internet connection.

Is there a way enable QoS so that it gives my xbox priority instead of the other computers in my home, since streaming a movie takes more than playing an online game.

the firmwire is 4.0 and i think its rev D1

You have to give the Xbox's IP a better priority or bandwidth in the QoS page. Better priority than any other IP.

I checked the spec on D-Link's site, it seems like the factory firmware doesn't have QoS?

You may want to check out Tomato and DD-WRT firmwares, personally I like Tomato more for its simplicity, both supports QoS. If you need a lot of advanced features, then maybe you will like DD-WRT.

Sorry for the Hijack, but can you actually change the firmware for a home D-link router? I was thinking it could only be updated, but not changed.
