I have a HP dv9429us that has a switch for it's wireless card that you can turn on and off. The light is blue when it's enabled and orange when it's disabled.
I'm not sure what happened but now I can't enable the wireless card.

Sliding the switch back and forth, the light still stays orange.

A driver reinstall was successful but the problem was still there.

I don't think my wireless card is fried but I think the switch is broken..

    Does anyone have any suggestions?

I might just have to buy an USB adapter.
    Thanks.

Well, it could be the Card. But I'd be more leaning towards the switch, or something in between.
