This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    My new notebook will have intel 4965 802.11 a/g/n wireless.

    I am looking for a wireless router suggestions would be much appreciated.

    Looking at D-Link DIR-655
    Reviews I have read have been good. But there is something about it only broadcasting 2.4ghz when the new standard will be 5.4ghz. I admittedly know very little about wireless networks (as this is my first notebook) so any help will be appreciated.

    I have also read good things about linksys wrt300n but I couldn't find a review as in depth as the 655.
