    Does WZC support Wireless-N networks?

    Stuff related to my question:
I have the Intel 4965AGN and although the driver is fine, their PRO/Set version 11.x utility is buggy. On both my Vostro 1400 and my previous laptop's 2915ABG, the version 11.x utility has a bug of some sort where the profile of AP's quickly becomes erroneous with an error message stating that the profile is defective or something. Without the profiling working, I can only connect to named unsecured APs. Obviously quite useless. For the 2915ABG, I could just go back and use version 9.x, but I can't do that now because 9.x doesn't support the 4965AGN. I do not currently have a Wireless N AP, but I'd really like to know if the WZC is capable of Wireless N, what I don't want is if it defaults to Wireless G even on Wireless N AP's.

So far with WZC, it keeps having a dialog popup saying that I am now connected to my wireless network. Hopefully it doesn't mean that I am getting disconnected again and again, so without bothering about "fixing" it, how do I make that popup stop popping up every few minutes?

With the Intel drivers, the standard XP stuff should handle 802.11n.

OK, thanks. Now, how do you disable the popup notification about it being connected?

WZC can be garbage for some connections... It likes to continually search for new connections(I dunno, maybe like every 2 mins?). I automated a script that turned off the service after my card connected(back when I used XP)...

Try disabling the WZC service in Control Panel -> Administrative Tools -> Services.msc AFTER you're connected, and see if the popups cease..
