I requested this thread be moved to the network subforum. You should get better answers there.

I think most N routers have WPA2? What is your budget? How many computers will you be connecting to the router wirelessly and wired?

    D-Link DIR-628

As stated almost all N routers will have it.
The DIR-628 is just a nice router :p

Two wireless computers (one I might actually hardwire in though), one Xbox 360 wired.

N routers are backward compatible with 802.11g wireless cards, right?

Yes they are. And for all I know all of them have to support WPA2 since 2006.

Are there any other features that you need? Or have a budget? I picked up the D-Link DIR-655 for $99 a year back. It's been great since!

Budget isn't an issue really, but I'd feel dumb paying for features I'm not using.

I just need it to be fast, support my devices and have solid security. I can't imagine ever having more than 3 things, wired or wireless, using it at any given time.

Pretty much any N router on the shelf is going to support WPA2.

WPA2 came out when G was around.

I knew it came out a while ago, but I didn't know how widely available it was. I still see every wireless network that pops up using just using WEP.

The popularity of WEP isn't the result of the lack of availability of WPA in routers but due to the lack of awareness of users and vendors.
