    Hi,
I ve noticed the Router firewall has been made to kill the P2P technology even when its used for purposes other than piracy... i.e to share pictures, self-composed songs etc..

Is there any way to Shut down router firewall?

    Router model : 2Wire 2700HGV-2

That is probably a firewall rule, just delete the rule, or disable it. I like using both, hardware and software firewalls. It's a lot easer to keep the bad out thant to remove it once your infected. Except don't use Symantic it has been nothing but trouble for me.
