    Hello,

I have a belkin g router and I've had it for about 2 years and it's worked fine up until now. Now it wont maintain a strong connection to the modem and when I use my belkin wireless card it disconects constantly.

try turning off the power, waiting a minute, and turning it back on for both the router and modem. occasionally i get terrible signal with my linksys router but whenever i do this it goes back to normal. otherwise, u could either have a signal interfering with the wifi (2.4ghz wireless phones, wireless headphones, etc.) or your router needs to be replaced.

I surprised it worked that long. I have yet to install a Belkin (anything) that worked for more than 30 days. So I no longer recommend them at all. So to answer your question. YES.

If your running BT kill it. It's probably over heating the hardware. Leave it off over night and see it works better with everything cooled down. If so it's having a thermal problem.
