Hello. I'm trying to find out if I have a wireless card. Here is what I have under network adapters:
    1394 Net Adapter
    Intel PRO/100 VE Network Connection

    Thank you.

1394 Net Adapter is your firewire port. The Intel entry would be for ethernet. Unless you have another device listed in your device manager, you do not have wireless.

From the name one can see it is a 100Mbit adapter. The 100 in there is not random.

What kind of laptop is it? You should be able to pull the specs off the Net and you'll find out for sure. I know that with older Dell's, ya have to add the driver packs. The wireless card will not show up if ya don't load the softpacks.

None of us can give you anything even approximating useful help if you don't tell us your specific make and model, as well as what OS you're running.
