I have ATT DSL with a 2Wire gateway. Once every five minutes I get a message that jacks my browser saying I have a gateway notification and that there was a problem. I got these before and was able to turn them off. However I got a new 2wire (same 2wire gateway) and I don;t remember how I turned off the notifications.

You should be able to click on of the link like status or such and then the http address changes, the advanced is usually at J01.
Example:
Default 192.168.1.1/xslt?PAGE=A01
change to advanced menu 192.168.1.1/ xslt?PAGE=J01
If this does not work then walk it from A-1 to B01 .... Z01 and somewhere you would find the advanced menu's.
Usually the problem is because of a defective dns server and you can cheat by using opendns or verizon dns or any other free dns out there.
OpenDNS 208.67.222.222 or 208.67.220.220
Verizon 4.2.2.1 up to 4.2.2.6
You can change this in your pc networking ipv4 dns or in the router or modem or any combination if needed.
Then you should be able to type in the address bar of firefox apple and it should autoload to Apple . Opendns might open a custom search page if it is not sure about what apple you wanted. -
I'm sorry, I don't understand
