My dv2037 laptop stopped working a while ago, and resumed after removing and putting the battery back in. Everything is now working, except that the WLAN is permanently disabled (yes, I have used the switch to try to turn it on =).

Is there a way to fix this without calling the tech line and being charged $50.00 for my trouble?

    Thanks!

Try reinstalling your WLAN drivers. Make sure you uninstall your current driver before installing the new.

Going into the BIOS and checking it's status there?
