My parents have a Direcway satellite dish that provides broadband. When they first got it, my notebook would connect fine. Then my hard drive started going insane on me and demanded a reformat, and now it won't work. I have all the drivers installed for my wireless, and I can connect everywhere else fine. The weird thing is, my laptop shows that the network is there, but won't connect to it. I have tried setting things manually, have read the help site (which was the worst thing I have read in my life) to no avail. Anyone have any experience with something like this, or have any ideas on what I should do? Thanks

If I recall on systems like yours, it connects like a modem.

I would take a look at the Auth/password. Try deleting the connection, reboot, then add it back in.
