I already have a linksys wireless b routher. I used it on my old hp laptop (which died). I mean for my purposes for that time, it worked fine because I used my laptop fairly close to the router. Although, when I went in my room the signal strength became a lot weaker which is not too far away (router or computers fault?). I connect to the net with a 1.5 mb dsl connection. When I get my new laptop would it be smart for me to purchase a new wirelss router? Would the new router boost signal strength. What are the differences/advantages/disadvantages? Is it worth it to buy a new router when i get a new laptop?

Probally because it would be much faster and the range would be greater. Here is a link to help compare them better. Compare
