I was messing around with my services and I ran into this problem which I fixed easily. Basically what happens is that your wireless does not recognize the network but you can still go online. This applies for the wireless network problem.

    Solution:
    1) Go to Start > type in services.msc > press ENTER
    2) Scroll down to Network Location Awareness > right click > properties
    3) In the General tab next to Startup type > change to Automatic > click Apply
    4) Restart

I hope this helps someone in the future :)
