    Hello,

Until recently Ive started having problems. When I first boot up my card detects 0 wireless networks. However we have 3 set up in the house (pretty big). I have to trigger the wireless scanner, and 2-5 minutes later I can connect.

It never did this before - I did however upgrade the drivers - I had no problem like this before. Help!

I'm having similar issues - but I haven't upgraded any drivers. My connection will drop in and out constantly for no apparent reason... it will see no networks, then it will see them weakly, then it will see them full strength, then nothing at all again. Incredibly annoying. I have a Vostro 1400 w/ the 1390 card. Is this card a complete piece of junk or what? I haven't had any problems until now (I bought the laptop in August)....

Have you done any troubleshooting? Have you tried taking the laptop to someone else's house and connecting to their network? Have you changed your router's channel? Have you introduced any new wireless devices into your house? Have you installed any new software on your laptop? Have you updated Windows recently? Have you contacted Dell (since your laptop is still under warranty)?
