I'm considering a new Dell Latitude and Dell offers 5 choices in wireless cards.
Does anyone know any distinguishable differences?
I've heard of WIMAX, but I don't currently know any hotspots using this protocol yet.

The Intel Advanced N 6205 is a 2 antenna duel band 300Mbps wireless card.

The Intel Ultimate N 6300 is a 3 antenna duel band 450Mbps wireless card.

Do you have a Symultanious duel band 300Mbps or 450Mbps router to match with the ability of the cards.

The wireless card is just one piece of the wireless networking puzzle.

I would avoid Dell branded cards- these are usually Broadcom adapters.
Intel 6205 is a good card and doesn't cost much- that's what I'd buy.

If you want to use bluetooth (mouse), buy the 6250; otherwise, the 6300 is the bomb!

    @ DAMIII
    You mean the 6230 ....

The 6250 is only 2x2 dual band with wimax, no bluetooth functionality.

I say the 6205 or 6200 is good enough unless you got an ap that can support 450mb link, go for the 6300.
