This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved.     My Inspiron 1520 can't connect to SMC8014W-G. I'm using the Dell Wireless 1390 WLAN Mini-Card. My settings for the wireless are set to Auto (instead of W or G). And the Channel is set to 11. I tried other channels but it's the same deal. The router is at all default settings, with a level 1 WEP. My room mate can connect, but I can't. We're both using Vista.
