    I added a Atheros/ZCOMAX - XG-621 - AR5002G - AR5212A - MiniPCI Wireless Card and antenna.

The Wireless Network light is on, but the OS doesn't reconize the card. I installed all the latest drivers, reinstalled the OS, which is XP/SP2. Still it doesn't reconize the card. I can use the (Fn) + (F2) to toggle the MiniPCI Card On and Off. I did get a driver to attach to the device manually, but it says "This device cannot start.(Code 10)".
Has anyone been able to get this MiniPci Wireless card to work with the Dell Inspiron B120/B130?

    Any Ideas?

It's driver's or faulty hardware, most likely driver's though...

    "Code 10
This device cannot start. (Code 10)

    Recommended resolution

Device failed to start. Click Update Driver to update the drivers for this device. On the General Properties tab of the device, click Troubleshoot to start the Troubleshooting Wizard."

Have already tried that driver, still code 10 error. Starting to believe it is hardware.

    Thank You

Go into its properties through the Wireless connection, and see if it says "Device Working Properly". (Start, Connect To, Show all connections, right click on Wireless Network Connection, properties, click on the General tab if it isnt there already, and then hit "Configure" up top.) All i can think of at this point now, maybe go into the Device manager and see if it shows up in there.

(Start, right click "My Computer", properties, Click on the "Hardware" tab, and then click on "Device Maganger")

I found out why it wasn't working. I had set the wireless controls and devices correctly in the BIOS. But there is a third setting in Onboard Devices to turn on the MiniPCI slot. It works great now.

Maybe you should give credit where it's due instead of pretending that you figured it out yourself...

Because if you didn't get help, where do you think you'd be?
