Dell Inspiron 1720 with Intel 3945 card can't connect to wireless internet.

My router is Linksys wrt54g 5.0
    WEP

I tried all 4 keys and Inspiron said can't connect. I change the properties from no authentication required to share and etc... but can't connect.
The vista network diagnose and instruction don't help.

    Please assistance.

    Thanks.

You have to add it through Linksys software. You want Linksys troubleshooting, not Vista. That is, if it's YOUR router.

Vista does not play well with wep, change to WPA (tkip or aes) or WPA2 if you can.

i've been having the same problem with my laptop. i got it yesterday and everything runs perfectly except for the internet. try connecting it to a different network, which worked for me (my internet's never been faster). linksys doesn't really work, but see if you can find a netgear or other network in range. i hope this helps you out
