My wife purchased a Dell C800 from me. Her work sell off the laptops when they get newer ones. I was told that it was ready for wireless Internet, but I have no idea if it is or even how to make it work. I have tried many ways through the wizard setup in getting it to work.

This is my first laptop. So my question is how do find out if it is ready? Is there something inside the laptop that makes it wireless and how do I know if I have it in there or not. If I do. Do I need another card to stick in the side of the laptop to connect to the Internet at the coffee shop? What should I buy if I do need to make it wireless?

    Thank you for any help

also I am running windows xp
