Hi, anyone know how is the Intel 4295ABGN compare to Dell 1505 Draft N miniPCI?
thanks

Do you mean the 4965?
From what I read, the N stuff varies greatly. Your experience will depend on the type of wireless access points you connect to most. -
Yes, that's what I mean.
How about as a 802.11g NIC, how's the Dell 505 compare to Intel 4965? In particular, I like to learn about the battery life, compatiblity and range... thanks -
From my experience, the Intel cards are usually better quality and go through more testing than the Dell cards. Therefore, I'd go with the Intel N card EVEN if you're connecting to a G network. Just my opinion from personal experience, I know others may disagree.

Sorry for restarting an old thread, but I had the 1505. It sucks.
The range is terrible.
I upgraded for free (well, I got paid actually) to the 4965. It can connect to networks the 1505 could not even see.
It seems to be more stable. the 1505 lost connection a lot for me. -
I'd go for Atheros AR9001 over Intel. Atheros has better drivers and better compatibility with *nix if that matters to you.
