I recently inherited a Belkin N1 Wireless router. Have set it up as an access point on my LAN and it works fine when my laptop is wired directly into the router. I can't seem to get the wireless N working with my laptop - Dell Vostro 1700 w/ Dell 1505 N card. Is there a compatibilty issue? I've tried no security, WEP, WPA, WPA2, etc in various configurations, but nothing seems to work. Anybody able to shed some light?
    Thanks

Is there some kind of MAC filtering on it?

Not to my knowledge. Wouldn't that stop the wired connectionas well though?

No. Because since when activating my Linksys router's MAC address blocking, it's default to "block" users with the IP Address.

I effectively cut off every computer of ours off the internet. I had to connect directly to get rid of it.

That was it. Thanks. It was set to allow, but I disabled it and now I'm up. Thanks for your help.
