So a friend of mine was looking to upgrade her router (currently on the awful one comcast gave her) but it's a router modem combo. She doesn't want to spend a lot, but wants something decent. Suggestions?

If the modem is free(no renting fee) and not causing trouble other than wireless, probably just need a router. Most combo (all in 1)sucks.

I know. It currently is an all in one. I want to get 2 separate things, and she is currently "renting" it from comcast
