Hi guys I'm new at this so I hope I posted this in the right place. I bought a usb bluetooth dongle V2.0 (IVT Corporation) with bluesoleil software from Ebay to use on my toshiba laptop which runs vista. When I connected the dongle and ran the software, it worked with no problems, then after a couple of hours, the green light on the dongle stayed on but would not flash any more. Now the laptop gives the message "USB device not recognised One of the USB devices attached to this computer has malfunctioned, and windows does not recognise it. For assistance in solving this problem, click this message". When I click the message the dongle appears as an "unknown device". I have tried to reconnect the dongle several times, as well as rebooting the laptop, uninstalling and reinstalling software etc, have also tried it on different usb ports on the laptop, also tried it on a desktop computer (which runs XP). The dongle is still not recognised, and I have become quite frustrated with this problem. Please, can anyone help.

Sounds like you might have a lemon. Plug in another device and see if your USB port recognizes it. If so, the dongle probably crapped out on you.
