I've had the same DSL provider, ISP, DSL modem and Linksys router for years but for the last 2 weeks every time we use the phone when online our DSL connection is dropped. Once the phone is hung up the internet connections reestablish automatically. Everything is the same as it always was EXCEPT for the Dell I9300 I've been using wirelessly for the last 4 weeks. The I9300 has Centrino (if that matters). Earthlink (my soon to be former ISP) is no help. Earthlink says I have a bad network card on the computer that the others connect to the internet through. Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    Joe

I don't see how the notebook could be the problem. I think it's pretty curious that you have found the conenction to die when the phone is picked up. Sounds like a line issue to me.
