This static read-only archive was pulled by NBR forum users between January 20 and January 31, 2022, in an effort to make sure that the valuable technical information that had been posted on the forums is preserved. For current discussions, many NBR forum users moved over to NotebookTalk.net after the shutdown.

    Does anyone sell these things at reasonable prices yet or are the v3 modems pretty much cable-company rentals only?

    I see plenty of v2 modem out there with good name brands behind them (linksys/cisco, moto, sci-atl, etc) selling for under $50- but nothing that can speak v3 for less than $100-
