    Hello all

Everything is working fine. All my device have good connection and working very smoothly.

The only problem that seem to annoys me the local network transfer speed between computers. I only get around a average 3.8 MB/s (Wireless N according to DU Meter) when I transfer files between my desktop and laptop.

My two laptop Sony TZ (Intel 4965) speed is 130 Mbps and my Sony SZ with (DLink 652) speed is 300 Mbps. They both transfer roughly the same as wireless G speed (3.5 MB/s) transfer speed locally.

My DLink 655 Router have this configuration.

    802.11 Mode : Mixed 802.11n and 802.11g
Enable Auto Channel Scan : [Check]
    Wireless Channel :[Grey Box]
Transmission Rate : Best (automatic) (Mbit/s)
Channel Width : Auto 20/40 Mhz
    Visibility Status : Visible
    Security Mode: WPA-Personal
WPA Mode: Auto (WPA or WPA2)
    Chipher Type: TKIP and AES
Group Key Update Interval : 3600 (seconds)

If I am getting similar transfer speed in my DLink 652 XtremeN card as my Intel 3945 then I think this card is a waste of money.

Is there anyway I can speed up my N transfer speed?

    Thanks

Try using WPA2 only and AES only, and if you only have 802.11n devices use 802.11n only.
