DECT 6.0 cordless phones don't interfere with 2.4ghz or 5.8ghz 802.11n wifi, right?

They operate at 1.9ghz, that's far enough away frequency-wise, right? Right now the 2.4ghz phone is messing with it a lot.

EDIT: Also, are there any advantages DECT 6.0 phones have over 2.4 or 5.8ghz models apart from (possibly?) not interfering with wifi signals? (and apart from herp derp 6.0 is a bigger number)

It's far enough from 2.4GHz so it won't interfere with Wi-Fi.
If you still have problems with interference think of Bluetooth devices- also 2.4GHz band and can cause problems sometimes.
Don't know anything more about DECT 6.0 though

As far as I know there are no wireless routers that connect to PCs via bluetooth and if there were they'd be ridiculously slow as bluetooth isn't meant for high speed data transfer.

What I meant is that Bluetooth also uses 2.4GHz band and can cause interference with Wi-Fi too

    oh ok
I don't think there are any bluetooth devices in the house I'm trying to set up, at least not near the 2.4ghz 802.11n wifi card.

Also microwave ovens. And wireless water and power meters. And you need to look not just at your house, but everyone within say 150 feet.

The 'miracle' of WiFi is that it works at all considering how many other devices work on those same unregulated freq bands.

Doing a channel scan with something like inSSIDer helps, but it doesn't catch the non-data consumer devices.

The only time the connection drops is when someone's talking on the 2.4ghz phone in the same room as that PC, so I think I can rule everything else out.
