Really like my D620. The only problem is that using either the Intel software or the Windows connection software, my wifi connection will suddenly drop for no apparent reason--even though it says that it's still connected to the network. It doesn't matter if the connection is strong. What's worse is that the software doesn't respond; nor does the attempt to manually turn the wifi button on and off. So the only way to reconnect is to restart the computer.

Has anyone else experienced this? What's the cause, and more importantly, what's the solution. I updated the driver for the Intel wifi card, but it hasn't solved the problem.

I think the problem is solved. The box for "Allow the computer to turn off device to save power" was checked, so I unchecked it. And so far, the problem hasn't returned.
