I found this router for around $50 at costco. Do you think this will be a good upgrade over my Linksys 802.11B? I mainly look for improvements in downloading speed, streaming speed, etc.

You will see a increase only if your pc is capable of running 11g.

    If 11b Only NO GAIN.

I have two laptops. One is B and one is G. The G can't get its full use because I have a B router. If I get the G router, will the G laptop benifit from it in streaming videos on net, downloads, etc.

Only if the B laptop isn't connected at the same time. When that happens, the network will throttle itself to the machine on the slower protocol.

i believe what that that means is when you have two wireless devices connecting on the B, then the router will run the connections all at the b speed.

speaking of the xtreme router, how do i get the 108mbps connection out of it?!
