I have a wireless D - link router model Dir-625. I put WPA-PSK encryption on the router and I can access it from my computer but my friend is trying to connect to it but I can't remember what the password is. Is there anyway to reset the encryption?

Go to command line (start->run->cmd) type in ipconfig. Scroll up to where it says default gateway under ur ethernet/wireless connection. Type that IP into your browser (usually 192.168.1.1) and then type your username and password you set up earlier (default user=admin, leave password blank) then edit the wireless settings from there. Hope that helps.

yeah, my admin password is the same as the ecryption password so that leads to me being stuck again.

Usually you press and hold the reset button for about 5 seconds, and it will reset all of your settings to default. That means you won't have wireless, so make sure you have an ethernet cable available so you can reconfigure your router.

You should review the D-Link manual for your router.
