Maybe someone can give me an answer for this...
I have a D-Link AirPlus Extreme G Wireless Router. I am having terrible problems with the router freezing (I didn`t buy it!). The only way to fix the freeze, is to remove the power for a minute and reboot it.

First I found a fix, because my torrent downloads were overloading it randomly and causing it to freeze. I limited their number of connections, and since then random freezes are almost non-existant.

However I still have the problem where if someone picks up the phone the router will freeze 95% of the time. The lights on the front all lock, shining in my face in mockery. The DSL modem is fine, it is only the router that needs rebooting. Is this simply because it runs at 2.4 Ghz, as does my phone? I understand why that may affect my wireless connectivity, however it fully crashes the router and therefore disconnects my wired desktop as well.

Is there any way to fix this, besides berating people some more about buying technology in this household without asking ME first? :p We don`t have the cash at the moment for a pretty, 5Ghz Linksys, or something like that. So any ideas are appreciated!

    1) See if another channel is less sensitive to your phone.
    2) Don't use the cordless phone.
