Help!! I just bought a D-Link DIR 625 Wireless N router. While I have only recently began working with routers I know enough to configure my own (I help configure routers for students' personal wireless on my college campus). My problem is my D-Link DI 625 frequently deauthenticates my wireless connections to both my laptop and my PS3. While this is not a huge problem with my laptop, it is a bigger issue with my PS3 which gets interrupted. How do I get my router to communicate properly with my Laptop and ps3? My lapotp is an XPS 1530 running Vista and my wireless card is an Intel 4965 AGN.

Have you registered your router at D-Link, joined the beta forums, and checked the DIR-625 board for similar issues? Have you reset your router to default settings (hard reset)? Does this happen right out of the box, without any encryption, or does it only happen when you encrypt the router? Do you have the latest firmware?

My router is registered, and this has happened since I opened the box, my router reset to default settings when I upgraded my firmware, which is current, and I have encryption in my dorm room. I have read it may be an incompatibility issue with the Intel Card, but I tihnk it is a D-Link Related error.. as such I do not care for their tech support...... I will keep surfing the forum to try to find help - Thanks

BUMP: I know it's me again.. I have a brand new D-Link problem... my router works.. or rather it did... NOW why is it broadcasting three networks??? i.e. if my room number is 320 it wuld broadcast a 320... 320 2.. and a 320 3> This router may quite possibly be the spawn of Satan.

Are you certain? It sounds like this is a quirk on your computer. I've seen this happen with Windows - if there's already an existing configuration for a network, any additional connections would get a "2" or "3" after it.

Perhaps... I've configured over 30 routers in the last two weeks but nothing liek this has ever happened... I'll wipe my wireless connections and tryagain :-/. This is the most problems I've had with a router yet.

EDIT: How do I clear the redundant networks? I'm ready to use my router a semi expensive catapult load.
