I got my new D-Link DIR-855 DRAFT-N 2.0 yesterday and I am already running into problems.

I can’t get my Intel 4965AGN to connect with more than 130Mps. I have tried to connect to both the 2.4GHz and 5GHz band with the same result 130MPS.
Should it not be able to connect at 270-300MBps?
It was actually the reason for buying the DIR-855 instead of my Linksys WRT350.

    Any suggestions?
Signal strength about 89-95% (sitting right next to the router for testing)
I have downloaded (and installed) the newest PROset driver from Intel.
    Running Vista Ultimate 64

You need to setup the router and 4965 to use the wideband (40 def is narrow 20) to gain speeds >130. And 11n requires WPA(2) AES Personal too. So if you setup with WEP it will not work at speeds >130mbps.
