Neither of my wireless connections work after adjusting the antennas (tightened and loosened the silver screws).

I don't know why this would cause the connections to stop working. I am at a loss for what to do.

I tried rebooting the modem and router, but that did not work.

How did you adjust the antenna?

They antennas were loose. They were not sitting outward. They would fall down. Tightening the silver nuts allows the antennas to stick out straight. Now, no wireless connection works.

Try putting them back in the positions they used to occupy to see if that makes any difference.

Your probably either short circuited the antenna or you broke the inner connector whole tighting the external nut.

Connections work now after setting router back to factory defaults. Now connections are slow.

How many power bars do you get?
