I have been toiling over the Intel 7260 and 7265 AC wireless adapters with their dropped speeds and ping spikes. I thought I had it fixed with the registry edit to fix standby mode, etc, but it started up again, and this time same result with 7265 card and Killer 1525 AC card. I then noticed that one of my wireless wires was pinched. I would think it might cause reduced speed, but wouldn't account for ping spikes, etc?

I don't think it would explain either behavior unless it's touching something. Still it would be constant rather than occasional so I don't think it's the problem.
