My card is having problems connecting to my router. I have the netgear wndr3700, and I can only connect to the 5 GHz band. I can see the 2.4 GHz band, but when I connect to it I see a yellow warning triangle, and it says it's connected with no internet access. Anyone know what's going on?

EDIT: The main reason i ask is because the 2.4 GHz gives me a better connection from where I am in relation to the router.

I get a great connection with no encryption. Is there a way to make it work with encryption?

Clear out your connection on the card. reboot. Connect to the routers admin (wired) and setup the 2.4 WPA2 AES again. Since you were connecting previously it may only be a corrupted config file. You may need to use a different SSID if the connecting is not clear. Now if you connect to a lot of locations make sure you use a Unique SSID to prevent problems.

If you get the same thing test to see if your getting a gateway. This is where most fail on www access. The next failure is DNS server info is not passed.

Make sure your firmware is up to date on router.
