    Hi,

I've been using Jiwire Spotlock as my wireless connection manager for a while now and have been quite pleased with it. I do not use the paid security features of Spotlock, I only use it as a connection manager and additionally I use the hotspot databse to find hotspots.

However it seems that Jiwire Spotlock is slower than Intel PROSet to connect to a network. I also don't know much about connection reliability with these two programs. What bugs me with IntelPROSet is that I can't disconnect from a network from the program. It seems I need to shutdown the antenna (with a hardware button) to cut the connection whereas Spotlock allows to disconnect from a network while still seeing the list of available network.

I wonder what you guys use as a connection manager and if you have any preference between Spotlock and Intel PROSet ....or other?

    Thanks

    Hi kilou,

I use Intel Proset. The newest version 10 is faster than v9 and has simpler interface, and works like a charm. You can disconnect or connect with ease (no hardware disabling). But you could do it before too.

    Cheers,

I use Wireless Zero most of the time. Works.
