I have a Sony Vaio VGN-NS325J. For the last week or so, everytime I turn on laptop it doesn't automatically connect to the router (Netgear)... says it has limited connectivity with a yellow triangle and exclamation point... when i unplug the cable modem and router and restart them, the laptop sees it and connects fine... I thought it could be the modem or router but my other computer that has a straight line to the router, seems to connect fine so i'm not sure what the deal is. Any ideas? Thanks in advance! :)

Check to see what IP address it has, is it from your router DHCP?
if so see if you can connect to the routers admin page.
Is the SSID being broadcasted in the clear? if not turn on SSID broadcast.
I find that WPA prefers SSID to be broadcasted.

if you can connect to the admin page,
see if you can ping 209.191.93.53 if so gateway good
then try pinging yahoo.com if not DNS servers not valid
