Hello everyone. Hopefully someone can help me with this frustrating problem.

For the last few days this laptop has been getting the BSOD with a IRQL_NOT_LESS_OR_EQUAL Stop error and the machine was VERY sluggish. This would cause the machine to shut down.

After some troubleshooting, I have narrowed down the problem to the WiFi adapter/drivers/router.

Whenever I connect to my home WiFi, the problems start. If I connect to a neighbors Wifi, things are okay. The computer does seem to be alright when connected to my home wifi while in Safe Mode however.

I have uninstalled and reinstalled the correct OEM drivers.

    Here are my specs:

    Toshiba L555D-S7930
    Realtek RLT8191SE Wifi
    6gb RAM
    Win 7 x64 Ultimate

If there's a Realtek application or service starting with Windows disable it.

Also is there any difference between tour network and your neighbor's network in terms of security? For example it their network is unsecured and yours is secured check what happens if you remove security or if your is secured by WEP and theirs by WPA change to WPA.

Their network was unsecured, mine is WPA2. I will turn the encryption off and see if that resolves anything.

Realtek does not load any applications.

    I'll check back.

Op, have you tried new drivers? Completely remove the old drivers.

Yes, I had uninstalled the old drivers and installed new.

I ended up just doing a clean install of Windows. Seems to back to normal again. Thanks for the replies.
