I have no idea what the problem is. Although I am connecting to Internet with no problem at my favorite WiFi cafes, and at home on wireless network no problem, yet Still keep getting an error msg saying Mobile broadband manager not responding.
    Any suggestions??
Also no idea what the WiMax error msg stopped popping up since I don't know how it could have been fixed.
Running Win 7 64 bit and did download drivers again.

WiMax is a long-range internet, probably because you aren't paying for it. It doesn't have anything to do with WiFi access points.

If you don't use it, you can probably just uninstall it.

Thanks very much. I thought it was simply a piece of hardware which was supposed to work, but wasn't. Would that also apply to Dell Broadband Manager?

Possibly? I don't own a Dell or that hardware myself, so I'm only operating theoretically here.
