Ok, my laptop connects to a wireless network yet i cant
access the internet through Internet Explorer. The program opens up and says the default 'could not be found'. I can't figure
out what is wrong because as far as i can see the computer
is connected. IE was working just yesterday and now, well not so much. When i connect through a hard line dsl that connection comes up fine and IE is able to connect. Please help!

    thanks

Can you go to another site once IE is open? Maybe your homepage is down?

In IE, try going to Tools/Options/Connections/LAN and clearing all the option in that box.

If that doesn't work, open a command prompt (start/run - CMD), type ipconfig/all, and post your DNS Server(s).

Do you get internet at all?
What is your router and your card?
    Disable all Firewalls
    Update the drivers and firmware.

Try in IE Tools>internet options>connections> try setting up the internet connections. Should be thbe top choice, and we will go from there.
Something is going on with the router and/or wireless card as the internet works wired. Give us some more info on the ipconfig,
