I'm really hoping you guy scan help me out here. I have a dell Latitude E7470 which can be setup to run Dell WLD 15 wireless dock.
    The dock requires :
    • The system must be equipped with an Intel WiGig antenna
    • The system must be equipped with an Intel 17265 / 18265 Tri-Band 802.11ac WLAN module or a Intel 18260 Tri-Band 802.11ac WLAN module
I've tried the Dell website, local computer parts guy, and can't find one of those cards locally so I'm going to go with one from ebay but which one is best? I know I can use any of those cards but surely one has to be the best one to go with?

Secondly how do I install an Intel WiGig antenna?

I can find lots of cards online, like on parts people but no idea how to get an antenna or install one.

Just out of curiosity why do you need or want this?

That WiFi card is a bit dated.

I use a dock with a Surface Pro 5 when in house but it's mostly because the Surface has only one USB port and I found it at a super low price.

Unfortunately with the E7470 your only docking options are the old school E port dock ( out since mid 2000's ) or this WiGig dock. There's no other option.

@OSihota the kit you ordered is very good for the purpose but the cable is short, limiting you to installing the antenna inside lower case instead display lid where it is supposed to go. Putting the antenna in display lid is better option than case if you want to use the dock with laptop on your lap, otherwise it's OK to have it in the base if there is a place to put it. Read this guide. Feel free to ask questions if you still have any.

A whole write-up, that's perfect! Thank you, exactly what I was looking for. It'll be a while before the thing arrives from China so I'll be sure to check in with you then.
