The wireless card went out and I purchased a new one. Both are Broadcom BCM94318MPG with bad card being REV 1 and the new one REV 2. When the old card had wireless connectivity the light stayed a solid blue. With the new one,I don't have any trouble with the connectivity,it works fine, but now the led blinks blue to indicate internet activity, this is annoying.I really don't want to put tape over it,but does anyone know a fix or is it firmware related. Thanks

It's driver related. I've had the same card and the led blinked or not depending on driver version.
It can be changed by modding an inf file.
BTW make sure you're using the most recent drivers.
