Before I engage MS and Cisco, we're having some users with Surface Pro 3/4's - anyone aware of a workaround?

This seems to be a "known issue" MS is unlikely to fix (now that the Surface Pro 5 is out and works fine), but I figured I would check if anyone here has any tips.

Try disabling 802.11a, ac, n, and/or the 5 Ghz radio within the WiFi adapter properties.

Thanks we'll try that in the coming week and see if that or a registry tweak I found help. I'll post if we find a resolution

It seems like the issue is specific to the 5 GHz frequency (or possibly band steering), thanks for the tip!

When I upgraded my dad's old MSI C2D laptop from Windows XP to 8.1, I had to disable 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz 802.11n all together to get it to work with any wireless connection.
