I installed an inexpensive router for my mother I think it was a Linksys E2500 and used its Cisco Connect Wizard. During the setup it made me put in a password to continue which normally would be what you would want.

My mother lives out in the country with no one around so it's really not necessary in her situation. My brother and nephews do the farming and are in and out of the house so it's kind of a hassle to always put in a password for her network.

Without being too complicated to do can I set her Wi-Fi to not have a password? I tried to delete her password but it won't let me continue same as when I was setting it up.

Your brother and nephews don't need to type it every time - just once and the network and password will be stored on their devices.

Sure - security can be removed altogether although I have not idea how to do it via Cisco Wizard. You should simply log in to the router via its IP address and to it from there (192.168.1.1 for Linksys). One possible downside is that you do lose 802.11n speeds - you need to use WPA2 + AES to get those. If you remove security you end up with 802.11g speeds (which might not be an issue at all- depending on how fast the Internet is)
