I'm looking for a small device to stay always online, since I can't always take out my laptop. I'm looking for something smaller than the EEE and more along the lines of the Sony Mylo.

The device should be capable of web browsing (flash player is a plus), instant messaging and if possible, capable of running linux (with wifi drivers available). All other features are appreciated.

The cheaper the device is, the better. Thanks!!

Sweet, thanks. Am I capable of installing other packages? Or is this restricted?

The N810 ships with Nokia's latest Internet Tablet 2008 operating system, based on Linux platform Maemo 4.0. I don't think you can install any other OS, if thats what you're asking.

But there are plenty programs you can install on it. Just goggle for it....

Thanks a lot for the quick answers!! I was looking forward to installing packages using apt, but if there's the choice of other OS, I'm pretty sure there's packages as well. I haven't seen any other CHEAP device with this specs, so I'll try with this one :)

    Thanks!

    You can try a PSP.
Even if it does suck surfing the web on it, but it works.
