Can anyone help me here? Most of the websites I go to work fine, but others do not. For example, arniesairsoft.co.uk when typed into my browser will just yield a perpetual "Waiting for arniesairsoft.co.uk" status, but oddly enough, going arniesairsoft.co.uk/forums works sorta-ok-sometimes. It might load some of the page's elements, and I might have to refresh several times to get a page to load fully.

I'm running an ASUS RT-N16 with Optimum Online (the standard "15 Mbps down" package). This happens on all of my computers, my Cr-48 and on my 8730w, and when I use WiFi on my Droid to connect to my network, it happens there too. Website works fine everywhere else. Help would be appreciated, because this is getting quite annoying.

    Hi,

Ok, lets try to establish a pattern.

    1. You gave one website as an example - do you have any others? or is it just this one?
    2. You say the websites which don't load, don't load on all the computers you use? on your network?
    3. Which browser are you using?
    4. Do you have any anti-virus or internet protection software running?
    5. Are you behind a firewall?

I'm on OOL also in Fairfield, CT. I would suggest changing the DNS servers to google's or openDNS and see if that helps. I just tried it (i have DD-WRT and 8.8.8.8 for my DNS on my router) and it works fine for me, took a little while at first though.

What about if you bypass your RT-N16? (as in, hook directly to your modem)

Changed my DNS on my router to 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4. Not terribly sure if it's 100% fixed, but it's certainly working better now.
