    Hello guys!

I’m using a Canon i80 Printer with the Bluetooth adapter. I’m able to print just fine, but there’s no bidirectional communication. The Canon utility pops up and can’t detect the printer settings or any info from the printer. I have set the printer properties to bidirectional with no luck. Any ideas?

Any time you put Bluetooth in the mix, especially like this when Canon doesn't support it, it's not uncomon to have issues like this. I know that doesn't help with a resolution, but I'm not surprised at all that it's not working. For printers I find a WiFi adaptor is more appropriate than Bluetooth.

Thanks Brian! I appreciate your response. I’m going to keep banging away at Canon. They seem to think it’s a windows problem.

I have the same type of issue when using a Belkin Wireless USB Print Server connected via Ethernet on my i860. I don't know which inks are low when it starts to flash on the printer. I usually end up connecting the printer directly to my laptop, determine which ones need to be replaced, and then switch it back to using the print server.
