I recently bought a Acer Aspire 6920-6428 and have been trying to connect it to our wireless network at home. It is the only thing I have ever had issues with connecting too.

It states it connects and is "limited" and cannot access the internet beyond the point of interacting with the wireless network. Do you hae any suggestions?

first thing i'd try would be to manually enter your wireless settings into the properties of the wireless card...in the view wireless networks tab...if it's already there...delete and manual configure

If you're running vista and you click the diagnose and repair link it has a couple options which may help you out. I know on some networks I initially get local access only, but Vista usually fixes it by doing some sort of IP business.

I would turn off IPv6 some routers don't support it.

Normally this is a DNS issue. See i you can "ping 68.180.206.168" and "ping yahoo.com". Use the ipconfig /all in a cmd window and look at the connection info. If you have a working pc compare your settings. If ping IP works and name does not, NO DNS Server.
